Woofstock Event is a 501 c3, non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping meet the needs of stray and abandoned animals in Marion County in a vibrant, fun, positive way.

Many who have never been involved in rescue are unaware of the time, effort, challenges, and limitations that are associated with helping animals in need.  As the founder of Woofstock Event, I was someone who fit that bill... until September of 2022, when a small pack of abandoned dogs opened my eyes.  

​

My experiences with the Friends of Jefferson Animals have been nothing short of inspirational.  As the only provider of rescue for our community, what they lack in resources and manpower, they willingly pay with their hearts.  

​

The mission of Woofstock Event is to enhance community awareness for those, who like me, were unaware of what rescue requires while garnering support and raising funds to help the cause.  All proceeds will go to the Friends of Jefferson Animals and to the Animal Protection League to further the Trap, Neuter, Return Program for our community.  And to do it all... with a groovy little vibe!
