About Us

A native of Northwest Arkansas, Lisa is a physical therapist who has lived in Jefferson for 16 years.  She has 2 fur kids:  Lucy, a 20 year-old feline, and Riley, a 6-year old rescue.  On any given day, you'll find them ruling the roost!

 

"My dream for Woofstock is that it become more than just an event by combining a little healing with expanding community awareness and togetherness... set to a groovy vibe... in giving back to an organization that realistically benefits us all.  And by doing so, that even more stray and abandoned animals in Marion County will get the help they desperately need."  

Growing up in East Texas, Ashley has always had a love for animals.  After making Lake o' the Pines her home, she realized the immense need for rescue in Marion County.  Ashley and her husband, Terry, began fostering in 2019 after witnessing the rescue of 120 abandoned dogs and cats.  They have 5 rescued fur babies of their own, and routine fosters in their care.

A multi-business owner in her hometown of Jefferson, Sharon is dedicated to reducing the stray animal population in Jefferson and surrounding Marion County by means of rescue and relocation for dogs and the Trap, Neuter, Release Program for cats. 

 

She and her husband, James, have 3 children and 3 grandchildren, and 5 household kitties.  Sharon is also the caretaker for several cat colonies in the area.
